Panama City Airport – First Class Airport with many airlines, great stores and airline clubs

Now that the secret is out, the flights are usually quite full from the USA. Flights originate out of Orlando, Houston, Miami, Newark, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Expect to pay between $400 to $600 for coach. The Panama Gringo used to fly American Airlines through Miami but recently switched to Continental Airlines through Houston. Houston is leagues better than Miami – customs is more pleasant (although our customs people have a very very tough job every day) and the airport has everything you could need.

Here are some secrets to visiting Panama:

1. GET A PANAMA PHONE As far as I know – only Cingular works there except if you have a chip for Verizon but it is expensive. BETTER WAY is to call Carlos (The Panama Gringos main man in Panama ) and have him pick you up a phone and a prepaid card for about $25 total and hand it to you when he picks you up from the airport. Movistar has triple and quad days which 3 and 4x the face amount of your time purchases on the phone — a $20 card last me all week – calling the USA several times a day. Service is excellent and you are in touch and hooked up in Panama with your own phone number. You can re-use it everytime you come back. Call Carlos from the USA – 011-507-6645-7075 and tell him the Gringo told you to call and you want to be hooked up with a phone when he picks you up from the airport.

2. TRAVEL FIRST CLASS THROUGH PANAMA CUSTOMS — Panama has a VIP service where the lovely Angela and her staff pick you up at the gate upon arrival and whisk you through customs to their nice VIP lounge on the second floor. They handle all the passports etc. In minutes, your luggage shows up, your passport is stamped, no lines to wait in and they provides soft drinks and beer while waiting the few minutes. Trust me folks – for about $50, this is the ONLY WAY TO TRAVEL. Call Marty or George at GIGGI Travel (toll free from USA 1-800-308-8180 and they will set up everything.

Stop thinking and get on the plane — Panama is the place to be.

This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the opportunity of a lifetime. A Hotel is currently being built above the complex and a marina for cruise ship docking is slated to be completed by the end of the year. There is also a high end condo project located across the parking lot that is quickly filling up with residents. All of these new additions, not to mention the widening of the Panama Canal, will greatly enhance the traffice to this area and add unlimited growth potential to the business. No expenses were sparred when building this beautiful bar/restaurant and you will need to do nothing at all except step right in and start making money. The owner built this beautiful place to relocate to and run, however, unforeseen personal circumstances have forced the sale of this dream venture. Everything is free and clear with no debt and it is priced for a quick sale.
The Bar/Restaurant is in a corner location with views of the Panal Canal from the front and the Bridge of the Americas from the back. There is an oversized patio area where customers love to sit and listen to the various bands that come and play at the club. For sporting events there are numerous flat screen TVs throughout the inside of the club. There is a full service bar and kitchen as well and many people love to come and have dinner here with their friends and family.
The inside is very elegant with rich woodwork throughout and special lighting for dancing or creating a tranquil atmosphere. The club has hosted weddings and special events in the past and there is a very active market for these types of activities.
The restaurant is currently operating and can be seen during normal business hours, however, confidentiality is a must and if you do go there please do not speak to any of the employees. Owner’s loss can be your gain. If you have always dreamed of having a business of your own in paradise now would be a great time to make that dream a reality! Owner will consider making a trade for property. Serious inquiries only please.
