Considering Staying in Residential Pedasi

Considering Staying in Residential Pedasi

When considering places to stay in Panama many often opt for the bright lights and modern conveniences of the city. However, for those who prefer to trek off of the beaten path Pedasi, Panama has much to offer. In Pedasi you will find a plethora of activities available such as world class surfing, diving, snorkeling and hiking. The waters near Pedasi are also well known for fantastic sport fishing and nature lovers can explore the utopia of wildlife that covers the Azuero Peninsula on which Pedasi rests. On my first trip to Pedasi I was fortunate enough to spot several exotic birds as well as a surprising howler monkey dancing down the road in front of our truck.

North Caribbean Panama – Playon Chico and Yandup Island

There are several tiny islands that make up a small archipelago and they are owned and operated by the Kuna Yala Indians as part of their reserve. That keeps the area refreshingly clean of the typical tourist traps, and the beaches virtually untouched.

If you come up to Playon Chico then check out Yandup, an island located in the center of the Kuna Yala reserve. It is a great little place to stay, Read more

It’s a safe assumption that you are thinking about visiting Panama. Do so – it’s a great adventure and you will have a good deal of fun.

While the flights to Panama are quite reasonable from the continental U.S. ($300 to $500 on American/Delta and Continental), the onslaught of interest in Panama as a perfect second home and tourist destination has driven hotel prices through the ceiling. It is not unusual to pay $250 a night for a Wyndham or Marriott.

That is why renting a condo is such a fabulous idea. The Panama Gringo has a couple of condos for rent, one of which being the Punta Pacifica Condo, and the other being the San Read more
